This is the Jervis Bay Territory Rural Fires Amendment (Scope of Rules) Rule 2015.

Jervis Bay Territory Rural Fires Rule 2014

Section 4

Insert:

hazardous material means anything that, when produced, stored, moved, used or otherwise dealt with without adequate safeguards to prevent the thing from escaping, may cause injury, death to persons or animals, or damage to property.

Section 4

Repeal the following definitions:

  1. (a)

    definition of light;

  2. (b)

    definition of motorised machine.

Repeal the section.

Repeal the Part.

Sections 26 and 29

Repeal the sections.

Subsection 31(1)

Omit “required to be served on a person may be served in the following ways (unless the Ordinance or this rule makes specific provision for how the notice or direction may be served)”, substitute “required or permitted to be served on a person must be served in one of the following ways”.

Subparagraph 33(2)(a)(i)

Omit “2014”, substitute “2015”.

Subsection 33(3)

Omit “subsection 6(1)”, substitute “section 6”.

Section 34

Omit “subsection 6(1)”, substitute “section 6”.

Repeal the section.

Repeal the Schedule.
