JASPER LEWERS (A PSEUDONYM)
v
THE QUEEN
[2022] HCASL 117
M162/2019; M6/2022
The applicant seeks special leave to appeal a decision of the Court of Appeal of the Supreme Court of Victoria (Priest, Kyrou and Niall JJA), dismissing his application to appeal his conviction.
The appeal foreshadowed by the application for special leave raises no question of principle warranting consideration by this Court. Further, there is no reason to doubt the correctness of the conclusion of the Court of Appeal. The application should be refused.
Pursuant to r 41.08.1 of the High Court Rules 2004 (Cth), we direct the Registrar to draw up, sign and seal an order dismissing the application.
