JAMES BAKER (A PSEUDONYM)
v
THE QUEEN
[2016] HCASL 83
M1/2016
This is an application for special leave to appeal from the decision of the Court of Appeal of the Supreme Court of Victoria (Redlich and McLeish JJA and Beale AJA), dismissing the applicant's application for leave to appeal against conviction.
The application does not identify a point of principle of general importance appropriate for the grant of special leave to appeal. Accordingly, it would not be in the interests of justice generally or in the particular circumstances of this case to grant special leave. Pursuant to r 41.11.1 of the High Court Rules 2004 (Cth), we direct the Registrar to draw up, sign and seal an order dismissing the application.
