IRRIGATION CORPORATIONS ACT 1994 NO 41—

PROCLAMATION

(L.S.) GORDON SAMUELS, Governor.

I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of sections 2 and 26A of the Irrigation Corporations Act 1994, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 July 1997 as the day on which:

(a)	section 6 ( 1) of that Act commences, and
(b)	Coleambally Irrigation Corporation is constituted by that Act as a corporation.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Proclamation commences provisions of the Irrigation Corporations Act 1994 which have the effect of bringing Coleambally Irrigation Corporation into being as a State owned corporation under the State Owned Corporations Act 1989 and establishing it as a class 1 irrigation corporation under the Irrigation Corporations Act 1994.
