Amendment Regulation 2000

under the

Irrigation Corporations Act 1994

His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Irrigation Corporations Act 1994.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to prescribe a part of Coleambally Outfall Drain to be a work for the purposes of the provisions of the Irrigation Corporations Act 1994 that deal with irrigation corporation water management works licences. The amendment will enable the Water Administration Ministerial Corporation to arrange for the use of the work by Coleambally Irrigation Limited under its irrigation corporation water management works licence.

This Regulation is made under the Irrigation Corporations Act 1994, including sections 46 and 96 (the general regulation-making power).

1     Name of Regulation

Regulation 2000.

2 Commencement

This Regulation commences on 9 June 2000.

3 Amendment of Irrigation Corporations (General) Regulation 1995

The Irrigation Corporations (General) Regulation 1995 is amended as set out in Schedule 1.

The explanatory note does not form part of this Regulation.

Insert after clause 5:

5B Definition of “work”: sec 46

That part of Coleambally Outfall Drain (part of which is locally known as Eurolie Creek) shown hatched black on the plan registered as 38/1528 by the Department of Land and Water Conservation, a copy of which is held in the Parramatta office of the Department, is prescribed to be a work for the purposes of Division 3 of Part 4 of the Act.
