1200 Ipswich Trades Hall (Validation) Act 1989, No. 90 BE IT ENACTED by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:- 1. Short title . This Act may be cited as the Ipswich Trades Hall (Validation) Act 1989. 2. Principal Act. The Ipswich Trades Hall Act 1986 is referred to in this Act as the Principal Act. 3. Commencement of certain provisions of Principal Act. Notwithstanding the provisions of section 2 of the Principal Act, it is hereby declared that the provisions of the Principal Act, other than sections 1, 2 and 3, are deemed to have commenced on the date on which the Principal Act was assented to for and on behalf of Her Majesty. 4. Validity of certain acts etc. done or suffered under Principal Act. All acts, matters or things done or suffered prior to the date on which this Act commences which purport to have been done or suffered under the authority of the Principal Act, notwithstanding any defect in the doing thereof or in the manner in which those acts, matters or things were done, and which would be authorized by the Principal Act had they been done after that date of commencement, are deemed to have been authorized by the Principal Act.
