Application for approval of the InvoCare South Australia Funeral Operations Enterprise Agreement 2022
An application has been made for approval of an enterprise agreement known as the the InvoCare South Australia Funeral Operations Enterprise Agreement 2022 (the Agreement) pursuant to s.185 of the Fair Work Act 2009 (the Act) by InvoCare Australia Pty Limited (the Applicant). The agreement is a single enterprise agreement.
The matter was allocated to my Chambers on 4 May 2022 and was determined on the papers.
I note that the employer signatory has typed their name in the signature box rather than supplying a signature as required by rule 24 of the Fair Work Commission Rules 2013. I waive this requirement in accordance with s.586 of the Act.
I am satisfied that each of the requirements of ss.186, 187 and 188 of the Act as are relevant to this application for approval have been met.
The Agreement is approved and, in accordance with s.54 of the Act, will operate from 7 days after the date of approval of the Agreement. The nominal expiry date is 31 December 2024.
