The Parliament of Australia enacts:
This Act may be cited as the
Interstate Road Transport Amendment Act 2000 .
This Act commences immediately after the commencement of the
Interstate Road Transport Charge Amendment Act 2000 .
Each Act that is specified in a Schedule to this Act is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this Act has effect according to its terms.
Schedule 1 — Amendment of the Interstate Road Transport Act 1985
Repeal the definition, substitute:
trailer means a vehicle that is built to be towed, or is towed, by a motor vehicle, but does not include a motor vehicle that is being towed.
