Determination of Amounts to be debited from the

Interstate Road Transport Account (No. 1/2007)

I, ANTHONY NORMAN ALBANESE, Minister for Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Local Government under section 23 of the Interstate Road Transport Act 1985 (the Act)

(a) pursuant to subsection 23(1) of the Act, determine that the amounts payable out of the Interstate Road Transport Account to a State specified in the following table are amounts equal to the percentage, specified opposite to the name of that State, of the amount standing to the credit of the Account on each 20 September, 20 December,
20 March and 20 June, starting 20 December 2007.

(b) pursuant to paragraph 23(5)(c) of the Act, require the amounts payable to a State in accordance with paragraph (a) to be expended on the maintenance and upkeep of roads in the State used by registered motor vehicles within the meaning of the Act.

Revocation of previous Determinations

This Instrument revokes all previous Determinations made under section 23.
