Interpretation (Amendment) Ordinance 1980

Ordinance under the Seat of Government (Administration) Act 1910.

An Ordinance to amend the Interpretation Ordinance 1967

Short title

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Interpretation (Amendment)

to a section of an Ordinance, does not form part of the Ordinance.".

Commencement

2. This Ordinance shall be deemed to have come into operation on 1 July

1980.

Headings, Schedules, marginal notes, footnotes and endnotes

3. Section 12 of the Interpretation Ordinance 1967 2 is amended by

omitting sub-section (3) and substituting the following sub-section:

"(3) A marginal note, footnote, or endnote to an Ordinance, or a heading
