AN ACT to amend the Interpretation Act, 1948-1957.

[Assented to 1st October, 1962.]

RE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Interpreta-

is referred to as the principal Act.

Second

2. Section H of The Second Schedule to the principal Act is amended by substituting for the words, "the defendant shall be entitled to and have treble costs" in the second last and last lines, the words, "the Court before which the action was brought may award treble costs to the defendant or such portion of those costs as the Court thinks fit".
