No. 28 of 1938.

AN ACT to amend section thirty-six of the Interpretation

Act, 1918.

[Assented to 31st January, 1939.]

BE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty,by and with the advice and consent of the Legis- lative Council and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:-

1.    This Act may be cited as the Interpretation. Act Short title.

Amendment Act, 1938, and shall be read as one with the Interpretation Act, 1918 (as amended by Act No. 31 of 1929), hereinafter called the principal Act.

2.    Subsection (2) of section thirty-six of the prin- Ant

cipal Act is amended by inserting after the word "it" in Teet,Prindnn

line five the words "or if any such regulation is not laid

before both Houses of Parliament in accordance with the

requirements of subdivision (d) of subsection (1) of this

section."
