AN ACT to amend the Interpretation Aet, 1918.

[Assented to 23rd December, 1929.1

BE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, byCouncil and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, inand with the advice and consent of the LegislaliVe

this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of

the same, as follows:—

Short title.

1. This Act may be cited as the Interpretation Act Amend-

ment Act, 1929.

Insertion of new

2. A section is inserted in the Interpretation Act, 1918,

section.

as follows:—

Registers, books of

account, etc.f

35a. Where by any Act passed before or after the commencement of this Act, provision is made for recording or accounting in Government departments by means of books any method or system commonly used in commerce for recording or accounting, if adopted with the approval of the Governor in Council, shall be deemed to be such book.
