  1. Name of Regulations

These Regulations are the International Transfer of Prisoners (China) Regulations 2008.

  1. Commencement

These Regulations commence on the day after they are registered.

  1. Definition

Act means the International Transfer of Prisoners Act 1997.

  1. Declaration of China as a transfer country

China is declared to be a transfer country.

  1. Application of the Act

The Act applies to China.
