International Sugar Agreement

An Act to approve the Ratification by Australia of the International Sugar Agreement.

[Assented to 21 April 1969]

BE it enacted by the Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty, the Senate, and the House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Australia, as follows:—

Short title.

1. This Act may be cited as the International Sugar Agreement Act 1969.

Commencement.

2.This Act shall come into operation on the day on which it receives the Royal Assent.

Definition.

3. In this Act, “the International Sugar Agreement” means the agreement adopted by the United Nations Sugar Conference 1968 and known as the International Sugar Agreement.
