This is the
International Organisations (Privileges and Immunities—Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank) Amendment Regulation 2016 (No. 1) .
(1) Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

This instrument is made under the
International Organisations (Privileges and Immunities) Act 1963.
Each instrument that is specified in a Schedule to this instrument is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this instrument has effect according to its terms.
Repeal the section, substitute:
(1) The Minister may, by writing, delegate the Minister’s powers under paragraphs 9(1)(b) and (5)(b) to:
(a) the Secretary; or
(b) an SES employee, or acting SES employee, in the Department.
Note 1: The expressions
SES employee andacting SES employee are defined in section 2B of theActs Interpretation Act 1901 .Note 2: See also sections 34AA and 34AB of the
Acts Interpretation Act 1901 .(2) In exercising powers under a delegation, the delegate must comply with any directions of the Minister.
