Interim Forces Benefits Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Interim Forces Benefits Act 1947.

Funeral expenses

1. Regulation 28 of the Interim Forces Benefits Regulations is amended by omitting “$500” and substituting “$550”.

Application

2. The amendment effected by regulation 1 applies in respect of funeral expenses of persons whose deaths occur on or after 1 November 1984.
