1 . (1) This Act may be cited as the "Interest

Eeduction (Amendment) Act, 1955."

(2) The Interest Eeduction Act, 1931, as amended by subsequent Acts and by this Act, may be cited as the Interest Eeduction Act, 1931-1955.

2 . (1) The Interest Eeduction Act, 1931, as amended

by subsequent Acts, is amended—

(a)

by omitting from subsection three of section one the matter relating to Par t IV;

(b) by omitting Par t IV.

(2) The Interest Eeduction Amendment (Prefer-

ence Shares) Act, 1932, is repealed.
