Inter-State Commission Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulation under the Inter-State Commission Act 1975.

Regulation 5 of the Inter-State Commission Regulations is repealed and the following regulation substituted:

Travelling allowance

“5. Where a member is absent overnight from the member’s ordinary place of residence in the course of the performance of the member’s duties, the rates of travelling allowance are—

(a) in respect of the President—

(i) for each overnight stay in Canberra—$90;

(ii) for each overnight stay in any other capital city—$ 125; or

(iii) for any other overnight stay—$95; or

(b) in respect of a member other than the President—

(i) for each overnight stay in Canberra—$90;

(ii) for each overnight stay in any other capital city—$ 120; or

(iii) for any other overnight stay—$90.”.
