s1 2 s3 Integrated Planning Amendment (No. 2) No. 272, 1998 PART 1—PRELIMINARY ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the Integrated Planning Amendment Regulation (No. 2) 1998 . PART 2—AMENDMENT OF INTEGRATED PLANNING REGULATION 1998 ˙ Regulation amended 2. This part amends the Integrated Planning Regulation 1998 . ˙ Insertion of new ss 12 to 14 3. After section 11— insert— ˙ ‘ Postponed commencement of uncommenced provisions—the Act ‘ 12.(1) In this section— “postponed law” means the uncommenced provisions of the IntegratedPlanning Act 1997 . ‘ (2) The period before automatic commencement, under the ActsInterpretation Act 1954 , section 15DA(2), of the postponed law is extended to the end of 2 December 1999. 1 ˙ ‘ Postponed commencement of uncommenced provisions—Building and Integrated Planning Amendment Act ‘ 13.(1) In this section— 1 This postponed law now automatically commences on 3 December 1999.
s4 3 s4 Integrated Planning Amendment (No. 2) No. 272, 1998 “postponed law” means the BuildingandIntegratedPlanningAmendment Act 1998 , sections 70 and 71. ‘ (2) The period before automatic commencement, under the ActsInterpretation Act 1954 , section 15DA(2), of the postponed law is extended to the end of 24 March 2000. 2 ˙ ‘ Application of sch 1 to continued preparation of planning schemes started under repealed Act ‘ 14.(1) This section applies if a local government continues to prepare a planning scheme under section 6.1.9(1)(b). ‘ (2) For applying schedule 1, section 11(1), to the preparation of the scheme, the local government is taken to have made a resolution under schedule 1, section 9(1), for the scheme. ‘ (3) This section expires on 30 March 2003.’. PART 3—REPEALS ˙ Repeal of instruments 4.(1) The following instrument made under the City of Brisbane Town Planning Act 1964 , section 7A, as an order in council is repealed— • the instrument about the Queensport Industrial Estate and other industrial estates gazetted on 30 March 1985 at page 1651. (2) The following instruments made under the repealed Act as orders in council are repealed— • City of Brisbane Town Planning Amendment Order (No. 53) 1995 2 This postponed law now automatically commences on 25 March 2000.
