Insurance Acquisitions and Takeovers Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, The Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Insurance Acquisitions and Takeovers Act 1991.

1.   Commencement

1.1   These Regulations commence on gazettal.

2.   Amendment

2.1   The Insurance Acquisitions and Takeovers Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

3.   Regulation 2 (Financial sector supervisory agencies (Act, s 75))

3.1   After paragraph 2 (c), insert:

• “(ca)

  Motor Accident Insurance Commission, Queensland;”.

3.2   Paragraph 2 (f):

Omit the paragraph.
