REPATRIATION COMMISSION

INSTRUMENT VARYING THE

VETERANS’ AFFAIRS PHARMACEUTICAL BENEFITS SCHEME

UNDER SUBSECTION 91(2) OF THE

VETERANS’ ENTITLEMENTS ACT 1986

1. The Repatriation Commission, under subsection 91(2) of the Veterans’ Entitlements Act 1986, varies the Veterans’ Affairs Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme, Instrument No.12 of 1995 determined by the Repatriation Commission on 27 November 1995, (the Principal Instrument), by:

(a)       omitting from the definition of “Explanatory Notes” in paragraph 3 of the Principal Instrument “1 November 1995” and inserting in its place “1 February 1997”;

Commencement: 1 February 1997

(b)       omitting from the definition of “Explanatory Notes” in paragraph 3 of the Principal Instrument “1 February 1997” and inserting in its place “1 May 1997”;

Commencement: 1 May 1997

(d)       omitting from the definition of “Explanatory Notes” in paragraph 3 of the Principal Instrument “1 May 1997” and inserting in its place “1 August 1997”;

Commencement: 1 August 1997

(e)       omitting from the definition of “Explanatory Notes” in paragraph 3 of the Principal Instrument “1 August 1997” and inserting in its place “1 November 1997”.

Commencement: 1 November 1997

2.         Each paragraph of this instrument commences on the date specified immediately after that paragraph.
