2.04 (1) (b) Determination of controlled aerodromes and airspace

I, Kenneth Wedderburn McLean, General Manager Airspace and Environment Regulatory Unit, Airservices Australia, hereby declare that following area has been reclassified as controlled airspace Class C under the provisions of Regulations 2.04 (1) (b) of the Airservices Regulations:

AREA DESCRIPTION:           To cover high intensity air activity associated with exercise operations, the following airspace reservation will be activated off-shore Class C airspace.

Airspace Reservation “Alpha”
LATERAL LIMITS:	S18 33.0 E148 51.4, S19 44.9 E148 57.7 S20 47.9 E149 36.9, S21 34.5 E150 09.7 S21 48.6 E150 19.7, then along the minor arc of a circle of 30.0NM radius centred on S22 16.0 E150 33.0 to S22 41.3 E150 50.5 S22 49.4 E150 47.1, S22 59.5 E151 10.6 S24 00.0 E151 54.9, S25 00.0 E152 39.7 S25 00.3 E154 04.6, S24 00.0 E154 04.6 S20 30.4 E155 29.2, S20 00.0 E153 32.2 S20 00.0 E151 24.0, S18 40.4 E151 00.6 S18 33.0 E148 51.4

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY:   Entry will not be permitted into either area described without the permission of the Administering Authority by way of an approved Air Traffic Control clearance.

This instrument will take effect from 13 June 2005 and remain in force until 30 June 2005.
