Institute of Teachers Act 2004

The Administrator, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following

Regulation under the Institute of Teachers Act 2004.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to increase from $80 to $88 the annual fees payable under the

Institute of Teachers Act 2004 by:

(a)

new scheme teachers who are accredited (other than at professional accomplishment level or professional leadership level), and

(b) transition scheme teachers who are accredited at professional competence level.

This Regulation is made under the Institute of Teachers Act 2004, including sections 25

(Annual fee) and 52 (the general regulation-making power).

1      Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Institute of Teachers Amendment (Annual
Accreditation Fees) Regulation 2007.

2 Amendment of Institute of Teachers Regulation 2005

The Institute of Teachers Regulation 2005 is amended by omitting from clause 6 (1) (a) and (b) the matter “$80” wherever occurring and by inserting instead the matter “$88”.
