Institute of Medical and Veterinary Science (Miscellaneous) Amendment Act 2006

An Act to amend the Institute of Medical and Veterinary Science Act 1982.

The Parliament of South Australia enacts as follows:

Part 1—Preliminary

1—Short title

This Act may be cited as the Institute of Medical and Veterinary Science (Miscellaneous) Amendment Act 2006.

2—Amendment provisions

In this Act, a provision under a heading referring to the amendment of a specified Act amends the Act so specified.

Part 2—Amendment of Institute of Medical and Veterinary Science Act 1982

3—Amendment of section 7—Council

Section 7(2)(a)(ii)—before "the Royal Adelaide Hospital" insert:

the body established under the South Australian Health Commission Act 1976 to provide health services at

4—Amendment of section 14—Functions and powers of Institute

Section 14—after subsection (2) insert:

1. (2a)

   The Institute, or a company formed pursuant to subsection (2)(ab), may operate within or outside the State.
