INSTANT LO'ITERY AMENDMENT RULES 1996

Made by the Lotteries Commission under section 28.

Citation

1.      These rules may be cited as the Instant Lottery Amendment Rules 1996.

Principal rules

2.      In these rules the Instant Lottery Rules 1991* are referred to as the

principal rules.

Rule 3 amended

3.     Rule 3 (1) of the principal rules is amended -

in the definition of 'instant prizew by inserting after 'symbolsw the

(a) following -

but excluding any security code or design "; and

the ticLt.
(b)	by inserting in the appropriate alphabetical position the following

definition -

'security code or design" includes characters, words, numerals or symbols that are rinted, stamped or embossed on a ticket for the purpose of validating an instant p.rize or identifying counterfeit or reconstituted txkets; m

4. Rule 8 of the rincipal rules is amended by inserting after subrule (3)
