AN ACT to amend sections four and fifty-three and the Second Schedule of the Inspection of Mach- inery Act, 1921.

Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

This Act may be cited as the Inspection of Machin- ery Act Amendment Act, 1941, and shall be read as one with the Inspection of Machinery Act, 1921 (No. 11 of 1922, as amended by Acts Nos. 42 of 1923 and 34 of 1924), and hereinafter referred to as the principal Act.

Section four of the principal Act is amended by

Amendment

3. Section fifty-three of the principal Act is

(a) by inserting after the word "hoist" in line three of subsection (1) the words "or of any winding-engine"; and

(b)

by deleting the words "or any internal combus- tion engine" in lines one and two of para- graph (a) of subsection (3).
