The Australian Capital Territory Executive makes the following Regulations under the Inquiries Act 1991.

Citation

1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Inquiries Regulations.

Commencement

2.  These Regulations commence on the day on which they are notified in the Gazette.

Interpretation

3.  In these Regulations, unless the contrary intention appears—

“the Act” means the Inquiries Act 1991.

Remuneration

4. Professor Dennis Pearce, the person appointed as a Board of Inquiry under section 5 of the Act to inquire into the circumstances relating to the negotiation of the agreement between ACTAB and VITAB and related matters, is entitled to remuneration at the rate of $300.00 per hour in respect of his performance of functions under the Act.
