Inland Fisheries (Seasons and Waters) Order 1996

I make the following order under section 197 of the Inland Fisheries Act 1995 .23 May 1996

1Short titleThis order may be cited as the Inland Fisheries (Seasons and Waters) Order 1996 . 2CommencementThis order takes effect on 31 May 1996. 3Interpretation (1)  In this order – Act means the Inland Fisheries Act 1995 ; [Clause 3 Subclause (1) amended by S.R. 2004, No. 37, Applied:09 Jun 2004] [Clause 3 Subclause (1) amended by S.R. 2011, No. 49, Applied:22 Jun 2011] [Clause 3 Subclause (1) amended by S.R. 2020, No. 48, Applied:22 Jul 2020] Canal Bay has the same meaning as in the Inland Fisheries Regulations 2019 ; eligible person means a person with eligible disabilities for the purpose of a transport access scheme administered by the department responsible for the administration of the Traffic Act 1925 ; [Clause 3 Subclause (1) amended by S.R. 2008, No. 100, Applied:20 Aug 2008] grid reference means the grid reference taken from the Universal Grid Reference System used in Tasmania and based on the Geocentric Datum of Australia (also known as the "the GDA" or "GDA 94") as defined in the Commonwealth Gazette No. GN 35, 6 September 1995; [Clause 3 Subclause (1) amended by S.R. 2018, No. 47, Applied:25 Jul 2018] [Clause 3 Subclause (1) amended by S.R. 2020, No. 48, Applied:22 Jul 2020] junior angling development fishery has the same meaning as in the Inland Fisheries Regulations 2019 ; [Clause 3 Subclause (1) amended by S.R. 2020, No. 48, Applied:22 Jul 2020] Upper Mersey Lakes Rainbow Fishery means the waters of – (a) Lake Meston, Junction Lake and Lake Youd; and (b) such part of the Mersey River that flows within and between the Western Lakes, including the tributaries that flow off that river in that area. (3)  Any period specified in this order and identified by days and dates includes those days and dates. 4Taking of acclimatised fish [Clause 4 Substituted by S.R. 1999, No. 75, Applied:31 Jul 1999] (1)  Acclimatised fish may only be taken during the following periods at the following places: (a) [Clause 4 Subclause (1) amended by S.R. 2004, No. 37, Applied:09 Jun 2004] between the first Saturday of August in any year and the Sunday nearest 31 May in the next year – (i) [Clause 4 Subclause (1) amended by S.R. 2000, No. 100, Applied:12 Jul 2000] .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .   (ii) Lake Mackintosh;
