Inland Fisheries (Seasons and Waters) Amendment Order 1998

I make the following order under section 197 of the Inland Fisheries Act 1995 .21 July 1998

1Short titleThis order may be cited as the Inland Fisheries (Seasons and Waters) Amendment Order 1998 . 2CommencementThis order takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette. 3Principal OrderIn this order, the Inland Fisheries (Seasons and Waters) Order 1996 is referred to as the Principal Order. 4Clause 8 amendedClause 8 of the Principal Order is amended by inserting after paragraph (a) the following paragraph: (ab) waters of Brushy Lagoon; 5Clause 9 insertedAfter clause 8 of the Principal Order , the following clause is inserted: 9Expiry The prohibition on taking fish in the waters specified in paragraphs (ab) and (da) of clause 8 expires at midnight on 30 July 1999.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the order) This order amends the

(a) prohibiting the taking of fish from Brushy Lagoon; and (b) providing that the prohibition on taking fish from Brushy Lagoon and Four Springs Lake expires at midnight on 30 July 1999
