Inland Fisheries (Inland Waters) Order 1997

I make the following order under section 5 of the Inland Fisheries Act 1995 with the agreement of the Minister responsible for the administration of the Living Marine Resources Management Act 1995 .12 February 1997

1Short titleThis order may be cited as the Inland Fisheries (Inland Waters) Order 1997 . 2CommencementThis order takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette. 3InterpretationIn this order, Act means the Inland fisheries Act 1995 ; 4Inland watersThe following are inland waters for the purpose of the Act: (a) [Clause 4 Amended by S.R. 2020, No. 47, Applied:22 Jul 2020] waters that are to the landward of the seaward limits of rivers specified in the order made, and in force, under section 6(1) of the Act; (b) waters that are to the landward of the seaward limit of a river referred to in section 6(3) of the Act.
