Inland Fisheries Amendment Act 2009

An Act to amend the Inland Fisheries Act 1995

[Royal Assent 27 April 2009]

Be it enacted by His Excellency the Governor of Tasmania, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly, in Parliament assembled, as follows:

1Short titleThis Act may be cited as the Inland Fisheries Amendment Act 2009 . 2CommencementThis Act commences on the day on which the Living Marine Resources Management Amendment Act 2009 commences. 3Principal ActIn this Act, the Inland Fisheries Act 1995 is referred to as the Principal Act. 4Section 4 amended (Freshwater fish) Section 4(1)(b) of the Principal Act is amended by omitting "during any time they are outside inland waters" and substituting "during any time they are in, or after they have been taken from, State waters".
