Infringements (General) Amendment Regulations 2013

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Infringements (General) Regulations 2006 to prescribe certain infringement offences under the Safety on Public Land Act2004, the Water Act 1989 and the Wildlife Act 1975 as lodgeable infringement offences for the purposes of the Infringements Act 2006.

2Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 168 of the Infringements Act 2006.

3Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on 13 March 2013.

4Principal Regulations

In these Regulations, the Infringements (General) Regulations 2006[1] are called the Principal Regulations.

5Amendment of Schedule 3—Water Act 1989

(1)For item 12.8 of Schedule 3 to the Principal Regulations substitute—

"12.8Clause 10 of Water Restriction By-Law

No. 405.".

(2)For item 12.11 of Schedule 3 to the Principal Regulations substitute—

"12.11Clause 10 of Water Restriction By-Law

No. 105.".

6Amendment of Schedule 3—Wildlife Act 1975

After item 14.1 of Schedule 3 to the Principal Regulations insert—

"14.2Section 22A(8) constituted by a contravention of regulation 19(1) of the Wildlife (Game) Regulations 2012.

14.3Section 22A(8) constituted by a contravention of regulation 19(2) of the Wildlife (Game) Regulations 2012.

14.4Section 22A(8) constituted by a contravention of regulation 23 of the Wildlife (Game) Regulations 2012.

14.5Sections 28(1), 44(3), 58C(1) and 58D.

14.6Regulations 11, 30, 32(1), 33(1)(a), 33(1)(b), 33(1)(c), 36(1), 36(2), 36(3), 37(1), 38(1), 39, 40, 42(1), 43(1)(a), 43(1)(b), 43(1)(c), 43(1)(d), 44, 45(1), 47, 48(1), 49(1), 50(1), 51, 52, 56(1), 56(2), 57, 58, 59, 60, 64(a), 64(b), 65, 66, 67(3), 68, 71(1) and 72(1) of the Wildlife (Game) Regulations 2012.".

7New item 11A inserted into Schedule 4

After item 11 of Schedule 4 to the Principal Regulations insert—

11ASafety on Public Land Act 2004"

11A.1Sections 12(1), 12(2), 13(1), 13(2), 14(3) and 15(a).".
