Infringements Amendment Regulations 2016

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Infringements Regulations 2016 to reflect the repeal by the Fines Reform and Infringements Acts Amendment Act 2016 of the requirement in the Infringements Act 2006 to prescribe lodgeable infringement offences.

2Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 168 of the Infringements Act 2006.

3Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on 1 September 2016.

4Principal Regulations

In these Regulations, the Infringements Regulations 2016[1] are called the Principal Regulations.

5Lodgeable infringement offences

Part 6 of the Principal Regulations is revoked.

6Schedules 3 to 16 revoked

Schedules 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 and 16 to the Principal Regulations are revoked.
