s1 2 s4 Indy Car Grand Prix Amendment (No. 2) No. 253, 2000 ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the Indy Car Grand Prix Amendment Regulation (No. 2) 2000 . ˙ Regulation amended 2. This regulation amends the Indy Car Grand Prix Regulation 1990 . ˙ Amendment of s 5 (Powers etc. of authorised persons) 3.(1) Section 5(1)(a)(i), ‘that area;’— omit, insert— ‘that area; or’. (2) Section 5(1)(a)(ii), ‘entrance;’— omit, insert— ‘entrance; or’. ˙ Replacement of pt 8 (Declaration of certain matters for 1999) 4. Part 8— omit, insert— ‘ PART 8—DECLARATION OF CERTAIN MATTERS FOR 2000 ˙ ‘ Promoter—Act, s 2, definition “promoter” ‘ 33. The declared period for 2000 is the period starting at midday on Wednesday 11 October 2000 and ending at midday on Monday 16 October 2000. ˙ ‘ Official title—Act, s 2, definition “official title” ‘ 35. The official title for the motor racing event for 2000 is ‘Honda Indy 300’. ˙ ‘ Declared area—Act, s 2, definition “declared area” ‘ 36. The declared area for 2000 is the area marked as the ‘declared area’ on the map available for inspection, between 9.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. on business days, at— (a) the registered office of Gold Coast Events Co Pty Ltd at level 26, 111 George Street, Brisbane; and (b) the office of Gold Coast Motor Events Co at level 5, 64 Main Parade, Southport. ˙ ‘ Period during which certain medical and paramedical practitioners may practise—Act, s 23 ‘ 37. The period starting at midday on Wednesday 11 October 2000 and ending at midnight on Sunday 22 October 2000 is declared for section 23(1) of the Act.’.
