INDUSTRIAL TRAINING (APPRENTICESHIP TRAINING) AMENDMENT REGULATIONS (NO.2)1991
Made by His Excellency the Governor in Executive Council.
Citation
1. These regulations may be cited as the Industrial Training (Apprenticeship Training) Amendment Regulations (No. 2) 1991.
Principal regulations
2. In these regulations the Industrial Training (Apprenticeship Training).
Regulations 1975* are referred to as the principal regulations. {* Published in the Gazette of 17 July 1981, pp.2535-2540. For amendments to 20 September 1991 see 1990 Index to Legislation of Western Australia, p.287.1 Schedule 1 amended
3. Schedule 1 to the principal regulations is amended -
(a)
by deleting the following - "Electrical Aircraft"
"Electrical/Instruments (Aircraft)"
"Ground Engineering (Aircraft)";and
(b) by inserting in the appropriate alphabetical positions the following -

Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Avionics
cc
Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Mechanical "; Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Structures ".
(b) by deleting "Ground Engineering (Aircraft)" in column 1 and the entries opposite and corresponding to that term in columns 2, 3
and 4; and
Schedule 2 amended
4. Schedule 2 to the principal regulations is amended by deleting
"Electrical (Aircraft)" in column 1 and the entries opposite and corresponding to that term in columns 2, 3 and 4. Schedule 3 amended
5. Schedule 3 to the principal regulations is amended -
(a) by inserting in the Table after column 4 a new column headed -

Savings
7. (1) In this regulation "former trade" means a trade deleted by
repletion 3 of these regulations from the trades listed in Schedule 1 to the
principal regulations.
(2)
Notwithstanding anything in these regulations an apprenticeship agreement relating to a former trade continues in force subject to the
Industrial Training Act 1975, the principal regulations and the Industrial Training (General Apprenticeship) Regulations 1981 as though the former
trade continued to be a trade under the Act after the commencement of these
regulations.
(3)
Any record, certificate or order made or given in relation to an
apprenticeship in a former trade continues to have effect notwithstanding
anything in these regulations.
(4)
Any person who completes the course of training prescribed in relation to a former trade under the principal regulations as in force before the commencement of these regulations is entitled to be issued with a certificate to that effect as though the former trade continued to be a trade under the Act at the time of such completion.
