Industrial Relations (Christmas Island) Regulations 2(Amendment)

I, The Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Industrial Relations Act 1988.

1.   Commencement

1.1   These Regulations commence on 30 June 1995.

2.   Amendment

2.1   The Industrial Relations (Christmas Island) Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

3. Schedule (Modifications of the Industrial Relations Act 1988)

3.1   Modification of section 191 (Registration)

Added subsection (7):

Omit “30 June 1995.”, substitute “31 December 1995.”.

3.2   Modification of section 193 (Designated Presidential Member to review registration of small organisations—stage 1)

Omit the modification.

3.3   Modification of section 193A (Designated Presidential Member to review registration of small organisations—stage 2)

Omit the modification.
