The Rule Committee of the Industrial Relations Commission made the following rules of court under the Industrial Relations Act 1996 on 23 October 2000.

Explanatory note

The object of the Rules is to omit rule 134 (3) from the Industrial Relations Commission Rules 1996. That subrule provides that the period within which a person is required by the Rules or by any order to serve, file or amend any process or other document may be extended by consent without an order for extension.
