AN ACT to amend the Industrial Development

(Kwinana Area) Act, 1952-1953.

[Assented to 23rd September, 1959.]

RE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent

Majesty, by and with the advice and consent

of the Legislative Council and the Legislative

Assembly of Western Australia, in this present

Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the

same, as follows:—

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Industrial	Short title
and. citation.

Development (Kwinana Area) Act Amendment Act,

1959.

(2) In this Act the Industrial Development (Kwinana Area) Act, 1952-1953, is referred to as the principal Act.

(3) The principal Act as amended by this Act may

be cited as the Industrial Development (Kwinana

Area) Act, 1952-1959.

amended. 2.

Subparagraph (ii) of paragraph (e) of section six of the principal Act is amended by substituting for the word, "of" the words, "or Chief Executive Officer of the Department of."

added. 3.

The principal Act is amended by adding after section six, a section as follows-

Notwithstanding the provisions of the done by or under any of those Acts, the land referred to in the Second Schedule to this Act being land that was purchased by the State from the Commonwealth in the year one thousand nine hundred and fifty-four or any portion of that land, may subject to the provisions of this Act be dealt with by the Minister under the provisions of section six of this Act, as though the land had been set apart, taken or resumed under the provisions of this Act, prior to the thirty-first day of December, one thousand nine hundred and fifty-three.

S. 6A. The whole of the land comprised and described in cancelled Certificate of Title Register Book Volume 1172, Folio 750, dated the twenty-sixth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and fifty-four, excluding those portions of the land that are reserved or disposed of under Part III. of the Land Act, 1933, at the date of the coming into operation of the Industrial Development (Kwinana Area) Act Amendment Act, 1959, other than the land the subject of Reserve No. 24902 classified as of Class "C" for the purpose of "Public Utility" and also excluding Cockburn Sound

Location 1841 the subject of Crown Grant Certificate of Title Volume 1208, Folio 533, and Naval Base (Kwinana) Lots 1-156, both inclusive, shown on Lands and Surveys Department Plan Naval Base (Kwinana) and the land comprising the road known as the old Rockingham or Naval Base road and the controlled access road proclaimed by proclamation published in the Government Gazette on the ninth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and fifty-six.
