1 . (1) This A c t m a y be cited as t h e " I n d u s t r i a l
Arb i t r a t i on (Liv ing W a g e Declarat ion) Act , 1 9 2 7 . "

(2) This Ac t shal l be read and cons t rued wi th the

I n d u s t r i a l Arb i t r a t i on Ac t , 1912, as amended by
subsequen t Acts , and the I n d u s t r i a l Arb i t r a t ion
( A m e n d m e n t ) Ac t , 1926.

2 . (1) A n y declara t ion of a l iv ing wage for male
adu l t employees made on or af ter t h e fifteenth day of

J u n e , one t housand n ine h u n d r e d and twenty-seven , shal l

be in accordance wi th t he provisions of th is Act , b u t a n y

de te rmina t ion of a s tandard of l iv ing m a d e on or af ter t h a t da te shall he in accordance w i t h t h e provisions of section seven of t he Indus t r i a l Arbi t ra t ion ( A m e n d m e n t )

(2) I n any declarat ion of a l iv ing wage for adu l t
ma le employees such l iv ing wage shal l be based upon

a s tandard of l iv ing in accordance wi th t h e provisions

of section seven of the Industrial Arbitration (Amend- ment) Act, 192G, and on the requirements of a man and wife without children.

(3) The Industrial Commission shall on or after the fifteenth day of June , one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven, but not later than the thirtieth day of September,one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven, declare a living wage for adult male employees in accordance with the provisions of subsection two of this section.

3 . The Industiial Commission may declare a separate living wage for rural employees or any section thereof based upon a standard of living in accordance with the provisions of section seven of the Industrial Arbitration (Amendment) Act, 1920.
