[ASSENTED TO 30TH OCTOBER, 1924.] ACT OF 1924. BE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the LegIS- lative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:- Short title 1. (1.) This Act may be cited as "The Industrial and t t' ArbitrationAct Amendment Act of 1924," and shall be ~ ~ ~c~ c IOn r~ ad as one with *"TheIndustrialArbitrationAct of 1916" as amended by" The Industrial Arbitration Act Amend- ment Act of 1923" (herein collectively referred to as "the Principal Act"). (i.) In paragraph (a), the words "forty-eight" where they twice occur are repealed and the words "forty- four" are inserted in lieu thereof. (ii.) In the first proviso to the said paragraph (a), after the word "namely" the words "railway gate- keepers in the employment of the Commissioner for Railways" are inserted. * 7 Geo. V.
