AN ACT to amend section 178 of the Industrial

Arbitration Act, 1912-1975.

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most ExcellentMajesty, by and with the advice and consent

of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:-

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Industrial

This Act shall come into operation on the day fixed by proclamation as the day on which section 3 of the Employment Agents Act, 1976, comes into operation.

Section 178 of the principal Act is amended

(a)

by deleting the word "broker", in line ten, and substituting the word "agent"; and

(b)

by deleting the passage "Employment Brokers Act, 1909-1918", in lines eleven and twelve, and substituting the passage "Employment Agents Act, 1976".
