  1. Name of Regulations

These Regulations are the Indigenous Education (Targeted Assistance) Amendment Regulations 2009 (No. 1).

  1. Commencement

These Regulations commence on the day after they are registered.

  1. Amendment of Indigenous Education (Targeted Assistance) Regulations 2001

Schedule 1 amends the Indigenous Education (Targeted Assistance) Regulations 2001.

  1. Appropriations for non-ABSTUDY payments — 2009 to 2012 quadrennium (Act s 14B)

(1)For subsection 14B (2) of the Act, the amount mentioned in item 1 of the table in subsection 14B (1) of the Act for the period specified in the item is increased by the factor of 1.02.

(2)The factor mentioned in subregulation (1) is based on changes to the Wage Cost Index No. 1.
