I, PETER JOHN HOLLINGWORTH, Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Christmas Island Act 1958 and the Cocos (Keeling) Islands Act 1955.

1Name of Regulations

 These Regulations are the Indian Ocean Territories Redundant Regulations (Repeal) Regulations 2002.

2Commencement

 These Regulations commence on gazettal.

3Christmas Island (Citizenship) Regulations — repeal

 The following Statutory Rules (being regulations made under the Christmas Island Act 1958) are repealed:

 · 1958 No. 61

 · 1979 No. 36

 · 1980 No. 371.

4Christmas Island (Sittings of the Supreme Court) Regulations — repeal

 The following Statutory Rules (being regulations made under the Christmas Island Act 1958) are repealed:

 · 1969 No. 54

 · 1981 No. 205.

5Cocos (Keeling) Islands (Citizenship) Regulations — repeal

 The following Statutory Rules (being regulations made under the Cocos (Keeling) Islands Act 1955) are repealed:

 · 1961 No. 52

 · 1979 No. 39.
