GORDON SAMUELS, Governor I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, CVO, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal and Other Legislation Amendment Act 2000, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 17 July 2000 as the day on which sections 1, 2 and 3 of, and Schedules 2 and 3 to, that Act commence.

Explanatory note
The object of this proclamation is to commence the Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal and

Other Legislation Act 2000 except for the provisions relating to the regulation of utilities.
