Transitional) Regulation 2000

Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal Act 1992

His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal Act 1992.

Explanatory note

Schedule 1.2 to the Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal and Other Legislation Amendment Act 2000 amends the Electricity Supply Act 1995 to abolish the Licence Compliance Advisory Board and confer its functions on the Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal.

The object of this Regulation is to provide, as a savings and transitional measure, that any references in other Acts, instruments made under other Acts or other instruments of any kind to the Licence Compliance Advisory Board are taken to be references to the Tribunal.

This Regulation is made under the Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal Act 1992, including section 29 (the general regulation-making power) and clause 1 (1) of Schedule 4 (Savings and transitional provisions) to the Act.
