Arrangement for conduct of election.

[1] On 27 February 2014 the Queensland and Northern Territory Branch of the Independent Education Union of Australia lodged with the Fair Work Commission the prescribed information in relation to an election for the following offices due to insufficient nominations in E2012/272:

Branch Executive Members:

Northern Territory Division (1)
Queensland Division (4)

Branch Committee of Management Member:

Northern Territory Division (1)

[2] On 27 February 2014 the Queensland and Northern Territory Branch of the Independent Education Union of Australia also lodged with the Fair Work Commission the prescribed information in relation to an election to fill casual vacancies for the remainder of the term of office in the following offices:

Northern Territory Division Advisory Committee Member:

Top End Rural Sub-Division (1)
Southern Region-Alice Springs Sub-Division (1)

[3]        I am satisfied that an election for the abovenamed offices is required to be held under

the rules of the organisation and, under subsection 189(3) of the Fair Work (Registered

Organisations) Act 2009, I am making arrangements for the conduct of the election by the

Australian Electoral Commission.
