IN THE MATTER OF AN APPLICATION BY MICHAEL VAN THANH QUACH FOR LEAVE TO APPEAL
[2019] HCASL 247
C6/2019
C7/2019
In these matters, the applicant seeks leave to appeal from orders of Bell J made on 6 June 2019 in Matters Nos C3 and C4 of 2019 refusing the applicant leave to issue or file applications for special leave to appeal from judgments given by the Court of Appeal of the Supreme Court of New South Wales on 25 March 2015 dismissing with costs summonses and motions filed by the applicant in New South Wales Supreme Court proceedings Nos 2015/48269 and 2015/67618.
The decision of Bell J to refuse leave to issue or file is unquestionably correct. It would be an abuse of process of the Court to permit the filing of either application. An appeal to this Court would enjoy no prospect of success.
Pursuant to r 41.08.1 of the High Court Rules 2004 (Cth), we direct the Registrar to draw up, sign and seal an order dismissing each application.
