An Act to amend the Impounding Act of 1865.

[30th March, 1869.]
WH E R E A S doubts have arisen as to the meaning of the words "competent Cour t " in the Impounding Act of 1865 and

it is expedient to remove such doubts Be it therefore enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled and by the authority of the same as follows :—

1. Whenever the words "competent Court" shall be found in the said recited Act such words shall be held to mean any two or more Justices assembled at a Court of Petty Sessions.

2. This Act may be cited as the " Impounding Act Amend­

ment Act of 1869."
