IMPOUNDING ACT 1993—REGULATION

(Prescribing the Parramatta Stadium Trust as an impounding authority)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council,
and in pursuance of the Impounding Act 1993, has been pleased to make

the Regulation set forth hereunder.

Commencement

1. This Regulation commences on 1 September 1995.

Amendment
2. The Impounding (General) Regulation 1993 is amended by inserting

in the Table to clause 6, in alphabetical order, the following matter:

Parramatta Stadium Trust All land vested in the Trust

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Regulation is to prescribe the Parramatta Stadium Trust as an impounding authority for the purposes of the Impounding Act 1993, so enabling it to exercise the same powers with respect to abandoned property as are exercisable by other impounding authorities.

This Regulation is made under the Impounding Act 1993, including section 51 (the general regulation making power) and the Dictionary to that Act.
